Veronica Falat wins the Southern Paddle and East Anglian Series

Persistence has paid off for Veronica Falat of Waveney & Oulton Broad YC in Suffolk! She competed in 9 of the 12 open meetings in the 2016 Southern Paddle series and finished with a score of 11 points from her best 9 race results. Second place in the series has gone to Howard Frear of Sutton Bingham SC in Somerset. At the two opens that they both competed in (Burghfield and Weir Wood) Howard finished ahead but Veronica notched up good results elsewhere. Veronica also sailed in all 5 of the events in the East Anglian series and finished first overall, 2 points ahead of Ian Bradley with Mark Langston of Beccles Amateur SC in third place. Full results are here.
