Miscellaneous

Q. I’ve seen a Streaker for sale, but the owner doesn’t have the measurement certificate. How do I get a replacement?
A. Replacement certificates can be obtained from the Association at a cost of £7.50. Regrettably, approximately 15 years ago some records were lost, it is therefore possible we may not have a record of an individual boats history. If the boat you are interested in is one of these and is known to the Association, it is likely a replacement certificate can be provided without any problem. However, if the boat is unknown to the Association it will have to be re-measured before a certificate can be issued.

Q. When is the association Yearbook published?
A. The Streaker Class Owner’s Association Newsletter is published annually at the end of May.

Q. When is the Association Newsletter published?
A. At the present time due to a lack of content the Streaker Class Owner’s Association only publishes a Newsletter annually, towards the end of December.

Q. How do I find out where Streakers are sailed and where do I find information about Sailing Clubs where Streakers are sailed?
A. Go to the 'Information' page and scroll down to the map, click on the area of the UK you are interested in and the clubs will be listed along with links to their own websites where available.

Q. I would like to suggest a change to the Class rules, who do I contact and what is the process?
A. Please send your suggestion, together with the names of the Proposer & Seconder (who must both be Association members) to the Association Secretary via the 'Email' link in the main menu bar. Any suggestions received before the 1st of May, will be included in that years AGM Agenda so that it can go before the membership for consideration.
