![]() A NNW breeze unusual for Pennine to a long run right down the lake in the first race with choice of which way to go, important but difficult. Ben Radcliff dominating the first two races gets a good lead early and never looked like being caught. He did not complete the 3rd race which allowed Ian priest a 1st place. Three different got 2nd, Ian priest, Richard Wood and Tom Gentry. Ian Priest also got a 3rd as did Peter Lawson and Pete Tyerman. So as you can tell the competition was well balanced, everybody taking part in good racing with changing of positions occurring throughout all the races. Odd little squalls caught a few out with capsizes but altogether a good days sailing. As usual we received a good welcome from Pennine and Josie Gentry and her team kept us well fed. It was also nice to see Tom Gentry keeping the Streaker sailing in the family. Photo by Ray & Jane Evans | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
