Streaker Class at the 2025 Dinghy Show
The Streaker Class will be at the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show on stand 116 this weekend (22-23 Feb, Farnborough International).
To mark our 50th anniversary, the stand will feature Streaker number 125 alongside two modern Streakers, one FRP and one all wood. Streaker 125 is a very early example, supplied as a Jack Holt kit in 1976. The boat has been carefully restored by Simon Cory and retains the original Jack Holt specification, so visitors will have a chance to see first hand how the Streaker has changed in 50 years.
We will also be promoting the jubilee events planned for this year, in particular the HOLT Tideway Race on 17 May.
To add to the sense of occasion, we have invited Arran Linton-Smith, the 1978 and 1979 Streaker National Champion, to visit the stand and cut our 50th birthday cake. If you are coming to the show, please come to the stand at 1:30pm on Saturday to meet Arran and enjoy some home-made cake!
