North Sails is new sponsor for the Northern Paddle series

North Sails has agreed to be the main sponsor for the Northern Paddle series, taking over from Sail Register which has kindly supported the series for several years now.

Norths will provide a brand new sail to be drawn as a prize at the end of the season. All competitors in the NP series stand a chance of winning it (as long as they are class assoc. members of course) - so it could be you!

The NP series consists of 17 open meetings so you're bound to find some you can get to! The first is at Tamworth on March 23rd and the last is at Elton on Oct 19th which is when the draw for the North sail will be held. 

The Northern Paddle series last year involved more than 80 people competing at least once and the winner of the Sail Register sail was Steve Hill from Halifax SC. The overall winner of the series was Martin Penty of Beaver SC.

While thanking North Sails for sponsoring the series this year, we would also like to thank Dan Rimmer of Sail Register for his support and are pleased to announce that Sail Register will sponsor our Inland Championships at Beaver in September.
