Sad news. Peter Gillard died this morning in hospital after a short illness. He was known to many in the Streaker class, not least as the builder of as many as 21 boats since 1989, several of which were sailed to victory in the National Championships by his son Alan and grandson Tom. Alan proudly points out that all the Gillard-built boats are still sailing!
Our thoughts are with Alan and Tom and the Gillard family.
